Birria Ramen is a fusion dish that celebrates the marriage of traditional Japanese ramen with the rich flavors of Mexican birria stew. Ramen noodles are served in this flavorful broth, along with tender pieces of beef. Cozy up to a bowl of this delicious birria ramen.

- Soft-Boiled Eggs:
- 4 large eggs
- Noodles:
- 4 portions fresh ramen noodles, or instant noodles
- Assembly:
- 3 cups birria broth (from Beef Birria recipe)
- 3 cups store-bought or homemade beef broth
- Kosher salt, to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded birria (from Beef Birria recipe)
- Garnish:
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup minced white onion
- 2 limes, cut into wedges
- 1 radish, thinly sliced (optional)
- Pinch of sesame seeds
Instructions
- To Make the Soft-Boiled Eggs: Place a medium pot of water over medium-high heat. When it comes to a gentle boil, drop in the eggs. Set a timer for 7 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare an ice bath. When eggs are done, transfer to the ice bath for 30 seconds, peel, and set aside.
- To Cook the Noodles: Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and divide between bowls.
- To Assemble the Birria Ramen: Heat the birria broth with beef broth, stirring to combine. Taste and add salt as desired. Divide broth between bowls. Mix cilantro, white onion, lime juice, and pinch of salt in a small bowl. Slice eggs in half. Top ramen with shredded beef birria, soft-boiled eggs, green onions, cilantro mixture, lime wedges, and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
